RACE REPORT

As the tapes were released Lucky Hit was left at the start to the dismay of those who had taken the evens. Night-Time settled in front, followed at a safe distance by Benoni and May Race. Approaching the chains May Race took over the lead, although the favourite was starting to get on level terms on the outside. With the rails to help her, May Race took command but won by an ever diminishing short head, with Sea Goose a bad third.
